A suburban Lake Worth man received a 12-year prison sentence Thursday for being under the influence of alcohol in a 2011 crash that killed two of his friends and injured a third.

Luis Angel Betancourt, 19, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving under the influence-manslaughter and one count of driving under the influence-causing serious injury in the Feb. 12, 2011, crash on Lake Osborne Drive in suburban Lake Worth.
