One man was airlifted to the hospital after an alleged drunk driver ran a stop sign and crashed into his car.
Traci L. Briskin, 38, of Clifton Park Center Road in Clifton Park was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after the accident.
Sheriff’s Deputies say Briskin failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Route 67 and Jockey Street in Charlton and struck a car being driven by Thomas R. Baker, 49, of Paisley Road in Ballston Spa at about 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The accident remains under investigation, but Baker was airlifted to Albany Medical Center with internal injuries. An updated condition was not immediately available.
