A 49-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested for driving under the influence in an April 26 crash that claimed the life of a 24-year-old motorcyclist, police said.

The victim was identified as Liam Crowley, of Chesterbrook, Pa., said Lt. William Cahill, of the Westtown-East Goshen Region Police Department.

The two-vehicle crash occurred about 10:28 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 202 and Stanton Avenue in Westtown Township.

Crowley was riding north on U.S. 202 when a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck, operated by Robert Elwood Landis, of the 900 block of S. Concord Road in West Chester, that was driving south on High Street made a left-hand turn toward Stanton Avenue in front of the motorcycle, causing Crowley to slam into the passenger side of the pickup, Cahill said.
