Attleboro, MA: Woman dead after late-night head-on collision with suspected drunk driver |

Police said a young mother is dead and a Rhode Island man is facing drunken driving charges after a two-vehicle crash in Attleboro on Thursday night.

Authorities said Jason Kwolek, 32, of Pawtucket, was driving a Jeep when he slammed head-on into another driver on Route 152 at about 10:30 p.m.

James Guerrini, the father of 24-year-old Kaisha Guerrini, said his daughter was the driver of the other vehicle and was killed in the crash.

“I’ve lost a beautiful person who cared a lot for other people and gave a lot to everybody,” he said.

Both Kwolek and Guerrini and had to be extricated from their vehicles by firefighters.

Kwolek was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where his condition is unknown.

Following his release, police expect to charge Kwolek with vehicular homicide, operating under the influence, operating to endanger and speeding.
