On Monday, April 16 at 7:30 in the evening, Blythe Police Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of E. Donlon regarding an injury traffic accident involving a pedestrian. On arrival officers found a young girl lying on her back in front of a blue 2003 GMC truck.
The truck was facing west in the westbound lane and was unoccupied. It had minor front end damage. While conducting the investigation on site, police were contacted by 24 year old Kevin Joseph Meng who identified himself as the driver of the GMC. As they spoke officers noticed an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath.
