A man was killed Monday in a head-on collision in Claiborne County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Officers say a Lincoln was traveling westbound on Londonberry Road near Jacksboro Pike around 3:30 p.m. The car crossed the center line while going around a curve, hitting a Honda Accord head-on.
The passenger of the Honda, 54-year-old Mark Nelson, was killed in the accident. Both drivers, and a passenger in the Lincoln were injured.
THP says the driver of the Lincoln, James D. Capps, 29, of Cumberland Gap, and his passenger had both been drinking and using drugs. Tests have been requested.
Criminal charges are pending.
