A Woodstock, Ill. man was arrested and charged with OWI-homicide after a one-car crash along Cobblestone Road in the town of Walworth Saturday morning left a 22-year-old Fontana man dead, according to a news release from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office.
The release noted the driver was identified as Daniel P. Consolo, 24, of Woodstock, Ill. Besides Consolo, three other passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were identified as Kevin D. Green, 22, of Fontana; and twin brothers Adam M. Szudarski and Ryan A. Szudarski, 21, of Wonder Lake, Ill.
Green was initially taken by ambulance to Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, and then transferred by Flight for Life to a Milwaukee-area hospital where he died of his injuries.
Consolo’s charges are being referred to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office. The charges include Operating While Intoxicated—Homicide, and Causing Injury by Intoxicated Use of a Motor Vehicle. The release noted other charges or citations may also be filed.

A motorcyclist was killed in Columbia Saturday night in a collision with a car, city police reported Sunday morning.
Troy Lebrente Wilson, 26, the driver of the car that police allege struck the motorcycle now faces a host of charges, including felony DUI involving a death, city police said.
The identity of the motorcyclist was not available Sunday morning.

One person died and three others were injured overnight in a multiple-vehicle crash in northwest Harris County, and officials say alcohol was involved.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident, which happened around 11pm at 7500 North Highway 6 at Longenbaugh.
According to investigators, 22-year-old Aaron Jaques was speeding northbound on Highway 6 when he struck the back of a pickup truck with his front end.
Deputies said the pickup truck, driven by Don Johanson, was forced into the southbound lanes and struck an oncoming Dodge Ram head on.
Johanson died at the scene.

A Madison Square Garden cook was mowed down and killed in Brooklyn early yesterday by an allegedly drunk driver who was nabbed by cops after smashing his car into a baseball fence.
Cops identified the victim as Karin Eberts-Ayub, 53. She was found laying face down on a sidewalk outside the left field of Kings Bay baseball field at the corner of Bragg Street and Shore Parkway in Gerritsen Beach at around 2 a.m.
She was struck by a 2012 Ford Fusion that jumped the curb. Steven Calandrillo, 25, has been charged with speeding, DWI, and manslaughter in connection with the wreck.

Father’s Day weekend turned fatal Saturday night after a Jackson infant was killed in an alcohol-related automobile accident.
Christopher Salas, 1, was killed after a Ford F-250 collided with the Expedition in which he was riding, according to a statement released by the Mississippi Highway Patrol. The accident took place on Hwy. 18 at the Spring Ridge Road intersection at 6 p.m.
Salas was riding in a child safety seat, according to the statement released by MHP spokesman Odis Easterling.
Brett Prince, 30, of Raymond faces DUI death charges in the accident. Prince was driving the F-250.
